When I began working on Tell the Ghost Welcome Home, I had no idea how much it would mean to me—and to all of you. This album became a soundtrack to moments I hadn’t fully processed, and sharing it felt like letting the world in on my most intimate memories. Then came the Steppenwolf shows—sold out, packed with energy, and filled with faces I’ll never forget. It wasn’t just about playing music; it was about connecting, sharing, and creating something real with every person in that room. It was like we were all welcoming something, or someone, back home together.

Recording in the Dark
It was one of those nights where everything seemed to be against us—the power went out at 3 AM, and we were left in total darkness. But instead of calling it quits, we lit a few candles and kept the session going. There’s something magical about that night; we were all completely in sync, feeling our way through the music. That vibe—raw and unfiltered—became the heartbeat of Tell the Ghost Welcome Home. It’s a memory that still gives me chills every time I think about it.
